In a perfect world, we could all do what we love and charge nothing for it – but the reality is: equipment, labor, time, and education costs money. While it’s nice to save a couple hundred dollars up front, sacrificing the quality of your installation is simply not worth it. Subpar equipment, poorly paid technicians, and cutting corners to save a buck means that at some point in the fast-approaching future, you will end up shelling out thousands more in serious repairs or early system replacement because your system was slapped in with little care.

Cool Change may be a small-business, but as such we are able to maintain a higher level of quality; we only have 2 install teams as opposed to larger companies with 5 – 7 crews and, as a result, we can keep a watchful eye over the work performed. All of our HVAC installers receive personal installation education from the company owner to ensure every new installation is handled with great care and done ‘by the book’, so no installation procedure is overlooked. These procedures may otherwise be skipped by contractors looking to save a penny here or there by using cheaper materials, cutting time off the job, or utilizing an installation team that has not received proper training.

Our system education gives us the opportunity to offer different options for the best equipment available. Some contractors will tell you, “this is what you’re getting”, but at Cool Change we know how to install from multiple manufacturers and we only use the best. Could we come install the cheapest of the cheap? Well anyone could do that – but Cool Change Heating & Air won’t. We don’t sacrifice your time or money for the sake of a cheaper job. Our installations are done by the best with the best equipment for the best: our clients.

Additionally, Cool Change employees are paid by the hour versus by the job (the latter being the case for most HVAC companies). This ensures the crew isn’t rushing to complete a job, but rather keeps the focus on the quality of the work and getting the job done right because the focus should not be the company or installers, but the homeowner. We prefer to take the extra steps as laid out by manufacturers to ensure your HVAC system has an incredible life-span and keeps your money in your pocket for years to come.
